About Yioulia


More than twenty three years of experience.


I am an independent professional psychotherapist, supervisor, registered practitioner member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP/HIPC) and a leadership coach with undergraduate studies in psychology.


I have seen clients individually and in groups in a safe and open environment. For the past decade, I have been also offering my services internationally through online platforms (video therapy & coaching).


During my career in psychology and psychotherapy, I have worked in several therapeutic communities, hospitals/psychiatric wards, psychiatric day-centres, prisons and in a school setting in both the UK and Greece.

Strongly motivated to eliminate the stigma around mental health and help people transform their lives, I have been giving lectures on mental health issues as well as speeches on child development for young parents. For two years I broadcast a weekly radio show on childhood issues.




Leadership Coaching


I support and empower people in their working environment, providing them with creative solutions and motivation. I offer role playing and action methods to individuals towards work presentations, effective public speaking, successful interviews and a longer term career development unleashing their true potential.

I have experience in different business and coaching models.


I also facilitate workshops for businesses and organisations: Mentoring, Team and staff Development, Mediation, Team Building.



Supervision


I am a fully accredited individual and group supervisor (UKCP) offering clinical supervision to fellow psychotherapists, counselors, health professionals and practitioners. I also supervise therapeutic communities, charities, organisations and other professional groups.



Training and Qualifications


I have been trained in an integrative, psychodynamic and existential, holistic background. I use counselling and cognitive (CBT) as well action method techniques.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (1994)

  • Foundation year in Psychodrama Psychotherapy (1993)

  • PG Diploma in Psychodrama and Group Psychotherapy (2002)

  • PG Diploma in Creative Approaches to Supervision (2018)


I have attended a plethora of training courses in psychology, psychotherapy, coaching. I am committed to my personal and professional growth and I am in supervision in accordance with the code of ethics and practice set out by UKCP.
